The Swiacki Children's Literature Festival at Framingham State University is an annual celebration of children's books featuring renowned authors and illustrators in the field. The event includes book signings, lectures, and workshops about the latest developments in the craft.
Schedule of Events:
3-6 pm: Check-in (The Forum, McCarthy Center)
3-7 pm: Book Sales (1839 Room, McCarthy Center)
3:30-5 pm: Book Signing and Art Exhibit, Duncan Tonatiuh: Codices, Past and Present (Mazmanian Gallery, McCarthy Center)
4:30-6 pm: The Pat Keogh Memorial Workshop, "What's New in Children's Literature?" with Dr. Laura Hudock and Samantha Westall (The Forum, McCarthy Center)
6-8 pm: Buffet Dinner and The Mary Burns Memorial Lectures, featuring Duncan Tonatiuh and Ibi Zoboi (Dining Annex, McCarthy Center)
